Mitchell launched the HISTYLE business in 2016. Following a career as a carpenter, Mitch decided to chase his passion building custom and architectural homes.
“I started out as a carpenter in South-East Melbourne, and that’s where my passion for the industry was born. I started HISTYLE so I could build the best houses possible.
When you are building something every day, you can see the end result. It’s a rewarding job. It’s not about the money, for me, success is about building detailed projects that inspires people.”

James has been working with Mitch since HISTYLE was launched. With over ten years in the industry, he continues to demonstrate an undeniable passion for his craft.
“I’ve been in the industry since I was 15 years old, and I continue to be challenged and rewarded. This company is more a family than a business. We build these houses that are millimetre perfect and when you see the look on someone’s face and you gave them exactly what they wanted, it was worth it.”
